PGJHS is excited to offer a new opportunity to our 8th grade students! During each of the nine week sessions, Officer Stills, our SRO, will be holding a Driver's Permit Test Prep Course. This course is designed to help our students prepare for the written permit test. Those students who will be in the 8th grade during the 2022-2023 school year are invited to register.
Each session will be limited to 25 students. The course will NOT replace any elective times and will NOT be for a grade or credit.
If you would like to enroll in this voluntary course to help prepare for the driver's permit test, please complete the Google Form that was emailed to your student account. If you have questions you can email Mrs. Stucki (amber.stucki@pgtigers.org).
Dear Parents of Prairie Grove School District Students:
The Prairie Grove School District is very appreciative to the parents and guardians of our students for your assistance this school year on Wednesdays. Our ability to dismiss school at 1:30 on Wednesdays has allowed our teachers to have precious time to collaborate and work together to discuss what is best for your child in Prairie Grove Schools.
This message is to make you aware of a change in the 2022-23 school year that will start on August 17, 2022, our first day back to school. Currently, on Wednesdays, we run buses to deliver students back to their homes beginning at the regular daily dismissal of 3:10 p.m. Supervision of students during this time, as you could imagine, required a large part of our teachers to be unable to participate or participate for a reduced time in their team meetings. To maximize this time for all staff, we plan to run our buses at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays rather than the usual 3:10, starting on August 17th. In effect, all of our students would be required to go home at this earlier time of 1:30, every Wednesday.
We are sending you this information early to start making plans for the 2022-23 school year. If this is a problem for you, we have our Paw Prints After-School Program for our Elementary and Middle School students for a cost of $10.00 per day. Paw Prints Registration
Our new school calendar is also attached for your convenience.
Respectfully,
Reba Holmes

Thanks, team for representing PGJH’s #GoTime spirit! We are proud of you all and know you will do amazing!!
Our PGJH students never cease to amaze us with their talents! Tonight’s 7th and 8th grades bands were outstanding!!
That #GoTime spirit was evident with every note! Thank you PGJH Band and Directors, Mr. Ferguson and Mr. Nichols for representing us so, so well.
PGJH/PGJH EAST is thanking PG Telco and Bright Futures for their investment in our students!!
As part of their Advanced EAST class, these eighth grade EAST students identified a need within our school and community. Due to the growing number of students using bicycles as a means of transportation to school, our current bicycle rack was overflowing! PG Telco and Bright Futures heard about the need and partnered with these young men to provide a wonderful new bike rack to help house all of the bicycles.
Thank you to these partners for seeing a need and filling it! Not only are you helping our present students, but exemplifying what it means to be a part of a community! We are grateful to you!
Congratulations to Elliott Dickey and Samantha Phelan for being recognized as PGJH’s April Students of the Month!!
Samantha and Elliott are not only great students, but they are hard workers. Each of them are recognized by their teachers as being students they can count on, who come prepared, and set the bar high in all they do.
Thank you, Elliott and Samantha for representing #GoTime!! We are so proud of you both!
