Art Club

Art Club is a club for any student interested in the visual arts. Students are not required to currently be enrolled in an art class. There are no club dues.

DECA

A recognized career and technical student organization that "prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe." Membership is open to any student, grades 9-12, that is enrolled in or has taken a business related course. State and national dues totaling $13 are payable annually. Locally, the DECA chapter participates in a regional fall conference and state competitive events. Qualifying students have the opportunity to attend the national conference each spring.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

FCA is a Christian sports ministry. FCA's mission is to present to athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church. Its vision is to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. You do not have to be an athlete to be a part of Prairie Grove FCA. All students are welcome to attend and be apart of our club.

FCCLA - Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America

Members are required to have taken or be enrolled in at least one semester of Family and Consumer Science. The membership dues are $15 every school year. As a club, we serve the community with volunteer work and charitable fundraisers. We also focus on building skills to be leaders in the home and workplace. Members can compete in STAR Events with a project that reaches a FACS topic: Leadership, Relationships, Housing, Clothing, Nutrition, Child Development or Resource Management.

Future Farmers of America

FFA formally known as the Future Farmers of America is an integral part of the agricultural classes. Students can participate in the 8th – 12th grades as long as they are in an agricultural class to be a member of the FFA. Yearly dues are paid to be eligible to participate in FFA activities. The FFA participates is a variety of events at the local, state, and national level in areas of leadership development, competitive judging events, and livestock showing. The Prairie Grove FFA strives to emphasized hard work ethics and community service through its many events.

Junior Bank Board

JBB is a business and banking organization that is co-sponsored by Arvest Bank. Arvest hosts monthly breakfast meetings with programs on car loans, credit cards, checking accounts, and other related topics. Additionally, students participate in a day of activities with Arvest representatives and travel to the Federal Reserve Bank or Bureau of Engraving. This organization is primarily for students interested in a career in business (including banking) or those interested improving their understanding of personal finance. Membership is by application only and is limited to around 15 members each year. Members are selected from junior and senior applicants based on a written application and teacher recommendations.

National Honor Society

National Honor Society is a club designed to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership and to encourage the development of character in the students of Prairie Grove High School. Link to NHS Constitution - HERE

Student Council

Student Council is a group of students elected by their peers to address issues of concern and organize student events and activities.

Quiz Bowl

The goal of Quiz Bowl is to promote academic team competition at various education levels for student knowledge and various content areas. Quiz Bowl started in Arkansas in 1985, and has now grown to nearly every school in the state. Quiz bowl matches consist of four rounds of toss-up, team choice, and bonus categories of varied questions and categories for students to display their knowledge and skill mastery using buzzers.
